Jeff Levy grew up on Long Island, New York. He has an AB from Bard College and an MD from Tuft University School of Medicine. Before going to medical school he was a Fulbright Scholar in Marine Biology and Oceanography in Lima, Perú. His post doctoral training was in Diagnostic and Nuclear Radiology at the New England Medical Center, Boston, MA. He practiced at Rose Medical Center in Denver. Jeff is married to Della Gilson-Levy; they have three children and two grandchildren. He is now retired which gives him the time to spend on his hobby of in depth research into the history of the common man and his relationship to the larger society, so-called “micro history.”
