David and Jenny Carr, married since 1995, are proud parents to two daughters, Eliza and Hannah, and currently reside in Bellingham, Massachusetts. David is a retired 20-year Air Force veteran, now working as a consultant with Boston Consulting Group. Jenny, after running a home daycare for 20 years, retired in 2023. The couple shares a passion for genealogy and history, becoming avid contributors to BillionGraves, where they’ve documented over 171,000 gravestones across 348 cemeteries in three countries. Their interest in cemetery restoration sparked in 2018 when they got involved with Evergreen Heritage, cleaning and resetting headstones at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs. In April 2024, they founded Gravestone Guardians, a non-profit dedicated to cemetery restoration. They are currently involved in three cemetery restoration projects at St Mary's of the Snow in Saugerties, NY, the Finger Ground in Mount Marion, NY, and the Plains Cemetery in Walpole, MA.
